Below is an archive of my News Page pre June 2014:
Of the Land
My latest series of work is being exhibited at Gippsland Art Gallery from 30 November 2013 – 27 January 2014.
Of the Land looks at the complex and sometimes paradoxical relationships between humanity and the natural world. The series is both a portrait of a man and an exploration of the life he leads; a life of animal husbandry but also animal slaughter, of self sufficiency and of dependence on the land.
The exhibition opens on Friday 29 November, 6-8pm.
The Analogue in Bosen and Of the Land in Sale
I’m looking forward to two upcoming exhibitions, one in Germany and one in Australia.
In November I will be showing a new series of work, Of the Land, at the Gippsland Art Gallery, Sale, in Regional Victoria, Australia.

However, my Berlin series will be featured in the European Month of Photograpy Berlin 2012, in a group exhibition at Kommunale Galerie Berlin. The exhibition is being curated by Hansgert Lambers and Axel Sommer and I am delighted to be included, and to have an opportunity to show the Berlin series in Berlin.
More about the exhibition – and my current ongoing series – soon.

Check out some of my new work in the upcoming exhibition Three at A Fine Line Gallery, in Matakana.
Three opens from 5.30 – 7.30 on Friday 12th September 2008 and runs through until the 5th of October 2008. The exhibition features new work by me, sada and Davina, as well as the work from our 2007 exhibition iota.
My new work is a small series called The Garden Fence. This series was created as I prepared to leave my wonderful job and apartment in Auckland, it signals the beginning of a journey and the loss that is inevitably part of such change.
This was the inaugural edition of MoMento, PhotoForum’s member’s only
magazine. My Observer portfolio was complemented by, and discussed in,
a text by John B Turner. Also featured in the magazine was a page including
image and text about the mural paintings of 60s artist David Larnach.

The final stages of a new series.
I am, as the above title suggests, in the final stages of a new body
of work. I have been working on this new series over quite some time,
and am hoping to exhibit it later this year.
In the meanwhile I’m not planning to exhibit much, although I’ll hopefully
have a few images here and there in group exhibitions. Keep an eye on
my site for the new series and for news of upcoming exhibitions.

Check out the PhotoForum exhibition.
I currently have work in an exhibition at The Digital Darkroom in Dominion
Road, Auckland. The exhibition opening celebrated the launch of the new
PhotoForum website, as well
as the inaugural edition of MoMento, the new member’s magazine. I was
lucky enough to have the first edition of MoMento feature a portfolio
of my work; the Observer Series. The exhibition features work by 15 PhotoForum
members and is well worth seeing if you’re in Auckland.
